The rover in front of wind generators by Pipestone, MN. You can see the antenna array and my really cool rover rack.
I fabricated the rover rack out of Uni-Strut and SuperStrut material. There is a CDR rotor mounted to a custom plate and then on the upper cross brace there is a Yaesu thrust bearing a custom plate. The mast is 10' of 1 1/4" EMT conduit. The rack was rock solid even at 70+ MPH. My friend Jason Tracy helped me paint it black. |
