The weather station before the upgrade. If you look closely you will see my 115amp/hour deep cycle which temprarly replaced the 7amp/hour gel cell after it died.
The upgrade increased the power available by upgrading the 10watt panel to a 32watt PV and the 7amp/hour battery to a 48amp/hour battery. We had to fabricate a new solar panel mount. The wind instruments were also moved to the wind generator tower.
